Sadly, we weren't able to make it to any Formula One races in 2011. Or any Formula 2 races. Or Formula 3 ones, either. But this video makes us feel a little better about it.
This chronicle of the 2011 Macau Formula Three Grand Prix, gorgeously shot in high-definition, is actually superior in several ways to attending the Macau Grand Prix. For one thing, you probably wouldn't have this kind of access behind-the-scenes, unless you can prove you're Jean Todt's blood relative. You wouldn't be able to hop around and see the race from so many different angles this easily, either. Also, it takes roughly 24 hours and one or two layovers on a plane to reach Macau, and that just sounds like hell.
