Meeker Avenue in Williamsburg Brooklyn is normally a shite place to look for a Lamborghini Miura. Imagine my surprise on the way back from the shops for a scone and some tea with my lady friend to discover this bugeyed bastard abandoned in the middle of the road. As I was tying the tow rope from the Miura to her Corrado, the blokes from the panelbeaters across the road informed me that its motor had been used as a toy for an Italian playboy back in Rome, brought to the states, registered in 1981 and left to rot when he picked up a Countach. Tosser.
I agree with the Playboy. Though the Miura has a great badge on the hood, its a horrid car to own and drive. If Lamborghini never became a rival to Ferrari in the 80s and 90s, the Miura would be long forgotten and unknown.
Goosebumps. I remember way back when you first told me you saw "half-a-Miura" in BK and I called bullshite.
Please tell me someone is is going to put this bull back on the road. By far the best looking car of all time.
I was really disappointed when a few years ago Lambo released the modern Miura and it never became anything more than a design story. Shame!
Are you fuxxing kidding me??? That's completely unforgivable. The Muira may not have been the best performing car of its time but it is one of the most beautiful cars ever - to treat it like this is a disgrace.
