It's happened to all of us. You're driving to your job at the Henry M. Paulson $100 bill-producing tree plantation when you stop to buy your usual venti iced non-fat gold-flake peppermint triple-shot latte at Starbucks...only to see an identical Ferrari to yours in the parking lot. Mortified, you punch the gas and blast out of there, praying none of your acquaintances from the Boeing Business Jet Owner's Club saw you.
Well, thanks to Ferrari's new Tailor Made program, never again will you need to fear the embarrassment of stumbling upon someone with an identical Ferrari to your own. The new bespoke car-tailoring system's only requirement is that buyers choose from one of three schools of thought for their custom Prancing Horse: Scuderia, which draws inspiration from the car maker's competition history and uses racing-inspired materials and designs; Classica, which pulls ideas and materials from the company's long history of elegant road cars; and Inedita, which is basically limited only by the breadth of your imagination and the depth of your wallet. Guess which of these three Lapo Elkann's California comes from.
Ferrari has conveniently provided a wealth of examples of each program's wares on the Tailor Made website; we've pulled together some of the most interesting ones and compiled them into the photo gallery above for your viewing pleasure. Check it out, then hit up the official website to see more cars or learn about the backstory of the ones above. [via Ferrari Tailor Made]
