Whether you call it the Toyota 86, the Toyota GT 86, the Scion FR-S, the Subaru BRZ, or even if you call it Betty, Toyota and Subaru's jointly developed sports car will happy drift around on cue. (But calling it Betty is the only way to get it to call you Al.)
Wouldn't really be that big a change for them.
We've all had fantasies about what we'd do if we were one of the few survivors left after the apocalypse. For most of us, those fantasies will probably stay fantasies—unless 99942 Apophis does in fact slam into Earth in 2036, we'll probably never steal a Ferrari and drive it to D.C. so we can do donuts on the White House lawn.

Making a good sequel is tricky. You want to improve on the first installment by going further than you did before, but at the same time, you don't want to lose touch with what made the first book/movie so good.
