We've been waiting with baited breath for the 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 to arrive, so we can properly drive the hell out of it on all our favorite roads. Well, it's not here yet, but Porsche has taken the wraps off the next best thing: the racing version of the new 911 GT3. Actually, some might say that's even better.

Jeff Zwart knows how to
handle a Porsche in the Race to the Clouds. Last year, he set a new record in the two-wheel-drive time attack category from behind the wheel of a 911 GT3 Cup; this year, though, he'll be charging up Pikes Peak in a slightly different animal.

Straight up the side of a mountain.
We love 911s in all forms, but seeing Jeff Zwart run his 911 GT3 Cup up a mountain while warming up for the Pikes Peak Hill Climb reminds us just how capable Porsche's rear-engined baby is on any surface.
