No one knows what it'll be called, but it's coming.
There’s been a bit of kerfuffle on the Internet over the last couple days over Infiniti’s decision to rename their entire lineup. Starting next year, all Infiniti sedans will be given alphanumeric names starting with Q—the G sedan becomes the Q50, the G two-doors the Q60, the M sedan the Q70—and all Infiniti SUVs will be given alphanumeric names beginning with QX—the EX becomes the QX50, the JX the QX60, the FX the QX70, and the current QX becomes the QX80. While defending the decision, new Infiniti boss Johan de Nysschen let slip that the car maker may be hard at work on a 550 horsepower super-M sedan under development. (more…)
