Ice Capades LIVE!

Video clips of Subaru driver Ken Block’s snowboard-rally car mash-up hit the interwebs.

If a photo is worth a 1000 words, what’s 20 minutes of video worth? We don’t have a finite number on that one (math who needs it?), but we do have a few clips of our man (and contributer) Ken Block sessioning a snowboard park in New Zealand with some DC team riders. If you read the last issue of 0-60, you know the back story. If you didn’t…you should of! Either way go check out the DC website for clips and photos. The part from the MTN.LAB 1.5 video is there (and on youtube), but we highly recommend the “behind the scenes” clip which has a lot more rally car stuff and less snowboarding. And in “the big crash,” KB finally admits to breaking his back. Ouch dude!

Dear 0-60,
Firstly, a huge “well done” on your magazine. It’s truly a joy to read and remarkably, we actually get it regularly here in Jakarta, Indonesia. There was a section that asked for ideas about what we, the readers, would like to read in 0-60. Given that your talented staff are quite international, I would love to see an article or two about the differing car cultures and how certain similar models receive unique designs based on cultural preferences. I try to capture this concept in my blog but I imagine your staff would be more stellar at it, not to mention being able to add a bit of much apprciated wit to the mix. I would therefore be grateful for your consideration of this topic.
