Open wheel V10 Hillclimber…

In-car footage from the Doune hillclimb.

The driver of this hillclimb car, hillclimb champ Graeme Wight, Jr of Scottland, is clearly gonzo. The narrow road, manual gearbox and what is said to be an ex-Arrows F1 Cosworth V10 mounted behind him, is not what comes to mind when we think “hillclimb race car”.

Sidenote, Wikipedia says Graeme opted for an ex-DTM 2.6 V6 Opel Cosworth motor to power his GWR Predator instead of the V10; can you tell by the sound?

Tell us we’re in the fog about what exactly goes on at hillclimbs in the UK, sure, but we still have this!
