Florianopolis 2009
Michael Schumacher schools everyone in Felipe Massa’s invitaional race of the stars.
While we were all out gorging on deep fried turducken and stuffing, the rest of the racing world was either attending or watching Felipe’s annual kart race. Being invite-only, the race always sees a slew of pro drivers–from Tony Kanaan to Rubens Barrichello. Once again, however, Michael Schumacher showed the grid why he has 7 world championship titles under his belt by winning the final heat, beating out Felipe on his first competition drive since his massive crash earlier this year. Not bad for a guy pushing 40.
