Week in Review
Your weekly re-cap of the goings on in the world of torque, motor oil and down force.
Straight from depths of Geiger Cars’ diabolical garage roars the atomic green Ford GT HP 790. This kit of megaton high performance modifications jacks up the HP to 790 and raises the top speed to 224 mph. Drop the cash required to put the keys in your hand and you’ll be blowing up the streets like Chernobyl.
Valentino Rossi has proven that he is the fastest man on two wheels, but he lights the track on fire when he rides on four… literally.
Find several hundred thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket? FAB design has got you covered. Roll like a Russian gangster in their Mercedes SL . For more authenticity, add the Moscow Mafia options package, complete with blood repellent trunk liner and nickel plated Desert Eagle.
While the Audi R8 is an excellent car it can be a bit too smooth, composed and quiet. Eisenmann’s new center mounted exhaust will bestow your car with vocals worthy of Fleshcrawl.
England has had a proud tradition of overly ambitious blokes who build sports cars in country sheds. Chevron Racing Cars are the new boys in the field. The company has optimistically named their vehicle the GR8. What would be great is if one could actually drive this car, unlike a TVR which penalizes its drivers for going around corners by killing them.
The SLS AMG may be as hot as a Red Savina Habanero, but those eccentric Germans at Brabus are preparing to crank up the temperature even more with their latest performance kit. The only thing that could make this car hotter now would be if Barbus let Valentino Rossi drive one.
SpeedART revealed their upgrade kits for the Panamera at the Essen show this week. While the pieces look nice, those of you who aren’t a fan of the four-door Porker will think it’s like putting David Yurman jewelry on Liza Minnelli.
Matte black cars look sinister, evil, and undeniably bad-ass. But is the trend played out? Check out this week’s sick collection of cars from all across Europe, courtesy of Autogespot.com and judge for yourself.
As an added bonus, scope out this matte black Subaru Forester. If Rosie O’Donnell had an evil twin, this is what she’d drive.
