Do want: Lancia 037 Replica

Bringing you our results of countless hours spent on eBay and forum classifieds.

For a “buy it now” price of $34,000, this Lancia Scorpion based 037 replica may seem a bit pricey to the uninitiated. The rest, however, know that Lancia’s legendary 037 rally car was the last and arguably greatest rear-drive group B ride of the era. Claiming the 1983 WRC championship with Walter Röhrl at the helm, it pushed 350 horsepower out of the rear mounted 2.0 liter four. And though it shared barely more than its chassis with the Scorpion, the look and history are still there. Don’t bother trying to find the real deal for anywhere near that price–as per homologation rules, only 200 road-going versions of the 037 were built. Now, what engine to stuff in there?

Chapel says:
Too much beta Monte Carlo. Not enough 037. Sorry. Nice beta though. Needs the volumetrico supercharger. I’d rather have a 131 abarth replica though

Ladies. Love. Lambos.

We here at 0-60 have conducted a study and the results are astonishing. Women will dress scantily and pose for pictures with a Lamborghini.
