Killing In the Name Of
Top Gear getting ridiculed for commercial of man committing suicide. People freak.
Top Gear mixes comedy with automotive tomfoolery, which is what makes the show so entertaining to watch but yet it is still somewhat informative. After showing a spoof commercial depicting a gentleman blowing his brains out after losing money and a woman, the commercial argues that having a Volkswagen Scirocco TDi would’ve make life worth it. Long story short, people saw the ad and complained to Ofcom, which is the British gatekeeper of television and now TG is in a bit of trouble. What will happen to TG, we have no clue. Probably just a fine and a warning.
What do you think? Over the line or funny British humor?
But for now you can rejoice in the fact that the new season of Top Gear starts in six days.
