North American Car of the Year
The list of candidates has been released for the COTY, but is it a worthy list?
Comprised of 25 autos, the North American Car of the Year will be voted on and the winner will be announced at the next Detroit Auto Show, slated to happen in January of 2010. Basically this is a popularity contest, which 50 automotive journalists will bicker over until the Detroit Auto Show next year.
So take a look at the list and what would you improve on or add? There’s a few things, like the Toyota Prius, that’d we get rid of. It can’t do a burnout for goodness sake. As a final question, what would be your car of the year taking into account everything released this year or about to be released? So many choices…

Travis Cody says:
It would be a close call between the Ford Mustang, hopefully for obvious reasons, and the BMW 335d. The question being fun with practicality and witch means more to you.
