Hard as it is to admit it, folks, it seems to be true: Steve McQueen's 1968 crime thriller Bullitt is no longer the ultimate cinematic expression of hooning in San Francisco. That honor now belongs to Ken Block's colon-happy Gymkhana Five: Ultimate Urban Playground: San Francisco.

Gymkhana Five may lack the moody soundtrack and noirish plot elements of McQueen's classic film, but when it comes to tearing up the streets of San Fran, Block comes out on top. The excessive theatricality of Gymkhana Four has been tossed, leaving us with nothing but close to ten minutes of Ken Block doing what he does best: making insane driving look easy.
