Infiniti Emerg-E Concept Car: Leaked To The Web For Your Pleasure

Will it have the performance to back up those looks?

Infiniti’s Emerg-E concept car is the latest in a long line of new product reveals to leak onto the web before its scheduled auto show debut, leading us to wonder: Is it even worth trying to keep a secret in the automotive world anymore?

Seriously, when was the last time an exciting car managed to stay hidden until the car company was ready to reveal it? The 2013 Viper seems to have leaked out a month before it was due to make its first appearance. The new Ferrari has had its cover blown early. The Lamborghini Aventador was the same way. So was the Pagani Huayra, the BMW M5, and the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

The Infiniti Emerg-E concept will still be making its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month, as far as we know, where we should learn all the details about the powertrain that supposedly motivates it. We’re kind of dissapointed that it leaked out early, but at the same time…it is nice to see that it turned out even sexier than those patent designs that snuck out a couple weeks ago. [via CarScoop]
