What A Michael Bay Film Looks Like If You're The Flash (w/Video)

Exploding a car at 1,000 frames per second is oddly beautiful.

Violence is often violent because of velocity. Slow a violent act down, and it often becomes strangely beautiful.

In case that old YouTube video of bullets splashing through steel plates at one million frames per second isn't enough to convince you of the beauty of slow-mo violence, check out this video of a car exploding and flipping through the air at 1,000 fps. Filmed for "Mythbusters<"/del> "Stuntbusters", the sight of burning fuel flowing over and around the shredded remains of an old car is the prettiest thing we've seen since those pictures of the XJ220 we looked at this morning.
