We had an excellent turnout for our Favorite Car Of 2011 contest, but there can be only one winner of the Hoonigan sticker package. The winner was selected completely at random, but we’ve also included his (or her!) answer below.
Ladies and gentlemen, our winner is Mr. Brandon, who chose to keep his last name to himself, but who provided this poetic explanation for why the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe was his favorite car of the year:
It’s the pinnacle of what it means to be a Cadillac; extremely well done personal transport, with style and flair. The sedan is less brash, the wagon too practical and civil-minded; the coupe is pure excess, and everything Cadillac should be, and more. Sit in one with the Recaros; tell me that’s not contemporary excess, as defined by the generation observing it, and show me a way to move up that doesn’t come with umbrellas in the doors. It’s fast, it has presence, and it just feels good. That’s a Cadillac, that’s the Standard of The World.
Well stated enough, we’re willing to overlook the fact that the CTS-V Coupe debuted in 2010. Congratulations, Brandon. We’ll be in touch shortly to send you your Hoonigan swag—just promise us you’ll send us a picture when you slap one of the stickers on your car.
I couldn't have put it better myself. I like the new Cadillac sedan and coupe. Would love to get my hands on one of them.
