It stands to figure that the man who designed the Ford GT would be rather particular about what his personal example looks like. If we’d designed one of the sexiest sports cars of the 21st Century, we’d be picky, too.
So if you want to know how GT designer Camilo Pardo likes his mid-engined super Fords, look no further than the gleaming aluminum-looking monster in the photo gallery above. Modified by wonderfully-named tuner The GT Guy LLC, Pardo’s Ford is clad in Mirrachrome and florescent orange paint, lowered an inch on Penske adjustable shocks, outfitted with billet alimunum clamshell vents, equipped with cermanic-coated Ford Racing catalyst eliminator pipes, and boosted to 725 wheel horsepower thanks to a Whipple supercharger and cold air kit, among other mods.
Pardo calls his dream GT the “Merkury 4,” but we just call it all-American sex on wheels. Mr. Pardo, if we choose to duplicate your car almost exactly when we come into some money…please take it as a complement. [via Ford GT Forum, Autoblog]
