Wager: Dirtfish Rally Rumble (w/Video)

Once again, we run our mouths in front of a racing pro.

Last time we featured a video from our Wager section here on the site, we saw Matt Tuccillo getting his rear differential handed to him by Vaughn Gitten Jr.'s girlfriend Abigail Baker in a drifting contest. You might think that this, along with the shame of losing the two Wagers prior to the drift-off, would have dissuaded Matt from participating in any more contests against racing professionals or their significant others. You would be wrong.

So a couple months ago, Matt headed out to Washington State to challenge current Two-Wheel Drive Rally America champ Chris Duplessis to a race against the clock at Dirtfish Rally School's track. To handicap the duel in Matt's favor a bit, he would be given a day's instruction at Dirtfish before the race; in addition, Chris would be driving the 130 horsepower 0-60 Scion xD rally car, while Matt would drive one of the school's 300 horsepower Group N Subarus.

How'd it turn out? Well, watch the video below to see. Let's just say it ends in a walk of shame for one of the two contestants. (Also, be sure to check out the Winter 2011 issue of 0-60, currently on sale, for an in-depth look at this Wager.)

Awesome! That Scion looks like a little puppy compared to the STi though... :)
