Some Great (And Not-So-Great) Automotive Jumps (w/Video)

The legacy of Kenny Powers is alive and jumping.

Though Kenny Powers may be known among the automotive community for the sheer audacity of his attempt to leap the St. Lawrence Seaway, he is far from the only person to ever take a car airborne. And quite a few people have done it on camera, too. So, for your enjoyment, we present ten videos of cars leaving the ground and, for however brief a moment, touching the sky. Some of the cars land successfully. Some don't. But all of them are entertaining.

Go watch the Patrick Richard Monster Jump on youtube. I was standing there so I am a bit biased but was quite spectacular. Only car to not lift. Last time that part of the course was ran and the last time spectators could get that close. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hMVdIeLVbs
