For all you folks out there who wanted to buy Ford’s epic off-road sport truck but couldn’t rationalize buying a vehicle with only two doors, time to sell that Taurus you bought instead—Ford is taking orders for the 2011 SVT Raptor SuperCrew. Four full doors give the Raptor room for your and three or four buddies, while a five-and-a-half-foot bed still holds plenty of whatever you need to transport at high speed across a post-apocalyptic America. (The two-door Raptor is still available, as well).

The old 5.4 liter V8 has been phased out, leaving the 411 horsepower 6.2 liter V8 as the sole engine choice whether you prefer your Raptor with two doors or four. There’s also a new color, Ingot Silver Metallic, which looks quite at home under the sunlight on the desert-crushing truck. The 2011 model year Raptors should start arriving in dealerships later this year.
