Now For Something Completely Different

Burn!

For those who missed the 24 hours of Nurburgring, there was no shortage of action as expected–like people jumping out of burning cars for example. Lotus Exige driver Roger Green got in contact with some debris from a previous incident, severing his brake lines and spewing brake fluid over the car’s red-hot stoppers, causing a massive engine fire. As any sensible human being would, he gets the hell out of the car as quickly as possible. Jump to 2:25 to see the action.

Ugh, I hate to see one completely destroyed like that, makes me sick to my stomach. Props for the green and yellow Lotus colors, though.

Woah, almost got run over by his own car! Thank you, Nomex! BTW, he should've also had his visor down. It can't protect your face from flames if it's up!
