A Frankenstinian motor swap for the ages.
General Motors did once have a rotary-engine program in its skunkworks, but our revvy, tri-cornered friend never saw daylight in a stock X-Body Chevrolet. But the mystical pull to swap motive engines being what it is, it's no surprise to see that a turbocharged 13B Mazda rotary has found itself powering a 1974 Chevy Nova. Maybe if GM's rotary program had bourne fruit back in the '70s, this kind of thing wouldn't seem quite so awesomely Frankenstinian. [Build Threads via VW Vortex]
