599XX. Nürburgring. 6:58.16.

Listen to the majestic symphony of an Italian V12 running on some German soil.

When the 599 came out, we thought it was really bad-ass. When the 599xx came out, we knew it was really bad-ass. And now, thanks to driver Raffaele De Simone, we now have numeric proof on the proving grounds in Nürburg, Germany.
And no, we didn’t even spoil it by giving you the time beforehand–because less than a minute into the video, you’ll realize that this is no ordinary lap. It also happens to be the “Fastest ever production-derived sports car” on the ring. Whatever that may mean, sub seven minute lap times are something to behold.

Take some time out of your workday to check out the 300+ kph curb-slapping mayhem at the hands of a very lucky Ferrari test driver.

As Topgear would say "it has slicks, will not fit over a speed bump, and is not street legal, therefore it must be taken off the board." Its is a bad ass car though!!!

I agree with Eric on both points.

+1 on what Eric said. IMHO, it's "easier" to make a fast race car than a fast street legal car.

right on, eric. is it just me or does the speedometer graphic say "100" where it should say "200" km/h?
