Great Moments In Advertising

NOS Energy Drink just stepped up their ad game with this demonstration of precision driving and product placement.

So NOS driver, Chris Forsberg, happens to be the current Formula Drift champion from last season. To say he’s got excellent car control would be an understatement. Apparently the folks over at NOS decided to capitalize upon all of this and have Chris be the star attraction in their latest commercial. Here’s the thing, clearly everyone knows that the guy can drive. But this demonstration of skill right here? This is just mind boggling. Far more interesting—and sketch!—than the old videos from Japan of cars with samurai blades attached to the front, slicing cucumbers in half as they drift past. In fact, I’ll include one of those below after the Forsberg commercial just for comparison’s sake.

Our hats are off to you, Mr. Forsberg. We would have wadded that Nissan up a good 100 yards before the actual target. Maybe even 200.
