Farewell to life as we once knew it.
While they may be the undisputed masters of home race simulation, the people Polyhpony Digital have made the ultimate hype machine for car geeks. Trailer after trailer, we've been promised everything we've ever wanted from the game–WRC, Formula 1, night racing, night to day racing, rain, NASCAR (just kidding, we didn't really ask for that), to marques like Porsche and Ferrari.

An E92 M3 build that won't be replicated for years to come.
The statistics for the unbelievably rich are grim when it comes to vehicular choices. Gaudiness and flash generally prevail over performance, while big rims and ICE add-ons usually end up diminishing the performance of these expensive marques, leaving thousands of engineers ripping their hair out when they see their hard work and toil fall to the weeds because someone wanted to roll 24s.
"Nelson", as they call him, is not one of those people.
Not fully content with his collection (colored with names like Enzo and Veyron, to name a few), he pulled our ultimate rich-guy fantasy move. Much like we've done in Gran Turismo, he took a brand spanking new car (with mileage still in the double digits) straight from the floor to a shop: IND performance, to be exact. His mission? To build an M3 worthy of hanging out in his high-dollar stable.
Right from the get-go, this build was a modder's wet dream–fresh, un-rusted bolts coming apart with factory ease (undoubtedly saving countless hours of PB Blaster soaked, knuckle busting toil) and a seemingly endless supply of only the finest go-fast parts. Between the massive Brembo stoppers and vaunted KW Clubsport coilovers, an ESS supercharger takes the already nutty,
9000rpm 8400rpm BMW V8 to supercar power levels. This is all then polished off with an M3 GTS replica rollcage and a special order color of BMW Atlantis blue. Interested yet? Head over to Build Threads and M3post to check out the nitty gritty of this balls out build. Nelson, we salute you.

Combining the smells of good brew and tortured rubber, all set to live German music.
Whatever your opinion is on MTV, it's hard to argue the fact that they really know how to throw a party. A prime example can be found right at the track tard's mecca, the Nürburgring. Yes, instead of clipping apexes, fans of music and racing alike were clipping at German lagers for the "Rock Am Ring" festival.

Are you into colors? How about the GT2 M3? Must be your lucky day, then.
Following up to the teaser shot we showed you earlier last month, famed artist Jeff Koons has finally unveiled his version of a BMW Art Car - a color stripe slathered GT2 class M3. And while we thought the preview rendering was cool, this is just plain awesome. Nevermind the fact that it comes with a booming 493 horse V8, the flying colors look amazing ever with the car standing still. We approve.
Head on over to Bimmerfile for the rest of the shots.
