Holy Testarossa Tuesday: “…pure desire for speed.”

Every second day of the week we share with you the spiritual excellence of the Ferrari Testtarossa.

Did you hear the latest in Testarossa news? A Swiss millionaire (the court said he’s worth $22.7m) was busted in eastern Switzerland doing 85 in a 50 mph zone. The court of St. Gallen, Switzerland said the unnamed driver “… ignored elementary traffic rules with a powerful vehicle out of a pure desire for speed,” and was thusly fined $290,000.

Holy Testarossa Tuesday: Diagrammatic

Every second day of the week we share with you the spiritual excellence of the Ferrari Testarossa.

This here 1416 × 2028 pixel image was found deep in the bowels of the internet. From it we chopped and diced other images to get a better idea what the mighty Testarossa looks like as line art. (Fast) cars depicted graphically like this says so much about how a car’s thousands of working pieces work in symmetric harmony. The MS Paint drawing below however, says alot about Windoze users.

The Hotness

The SSZ Stradale is a beast of a hill climbin’ hot rod.

The backyard bandits at Function First Motorsports have a saying: “If it ain’t broke, modify it.” Awesome. Here they have modded a the SSZ Stradale, an American car and former FIA GT racer. Compared to the mint condition blue example we’ve posted, we think the filthier the SSZ, the better. Cheers to the cats at FFA for keeping a beast like this in competition.

Holy Testarossa Tuesday: Trapper Keeper

Every second day of the week we share with you the spiritual excellence of the Ferrari Testarossa.

Smart ass seller "jump-dumpster" has two new old stock Trapper Keepers for sale. Right now there's seven bids at a price of $30. Though the sellers comment, "I only have one or two of these left in stock, and unlike the real life Ferrari Testarossa, they won't plummet in value over time" makes blood boil in frustration  and humiliation, buying one of thesenostalgia gems to add to the collection might be in order real soon. Item description: Nothing says 1988 like an image of a Ferrari Testarossa racing across the deconstructed skyline of Miami beach on your Trapper Keeper. This is part of a collection of New Old Stock vintage Trapper Keepers by Mead that I found in an old grocery store. This is in perfect condition! Includes two original folders and even original paper pad! The Trapper Keeper you get is the exact item pictured with the folders pictured. Dates from 1988. Check out my other vintage Trapper Keepers up for auction. These make a great gift for the nostalgic hipster in your life! Shipping is combined for multiple purchases. I only have one or two of these left in stock, and unlike the real life Ferrari Testarossa, they won’t plummet in value over time. Quick, there’s no time left [gallery link="file"]

Holy Testarossa Tuesday: Sir Mix-A-Lot Edition

Every second day of the week we share with you the spiritual excellence of the Ferrari Testarossa.

"Posse on Broadway." "My Hooptie." And who can forget the classic "Baby Got Back," but did you know your boy Sir Mix-a-Lot penned a tune with the Testarossa as its theme? Unless you're the hip-hop equivalent of Matt Pinfield you probably didn't know "Testarossa" was positioned five tracks after

Holy Testarossa Tuesday: Pocher Edition

Every second day of the week we share with you the spiritual excellence of the Ferrari Testarossa.

Italalian Pocher models are the most detailed DIY-build replicas you can could buy. These one eighth scale (nearly two feet long) repli-cars were sold between the 1970s and fairly recently.

Holy Testarossa Tuesday: What it Ain't

Every second day of the week we share with you the spiritual excellence of the Ferrari Testarossa.

By now we've established what is a Ferrari Testarossa. It's: the best car Ferrari ever hammered out, an icon in every sense of the word, and just fuckin' sweet. Now that we've just told you something you already knew, here are five things the Ferrari Testarossa is not. Fate Testarossa: She's every anime fan boy's wet dream
