When in Doubt, Flat Out

A compilation of tarmac rally jumps from our favorite Youtuber, Amjayes.

Back at it again, Amjayes is giving us another pure, unmolested (via bad techno) video with pure engine sounds. This time around, we’re getting a look at some professional and amateur rallyists going flat out through hilly sections that would render any normal passenger car into a pile of dust.

The best part of it is listening and realizing that, even when careening straight towards a wall, these drivers aren’t letting up one bit. It’s a prime example of a race driver’s absolute lack of that “fear gene” which would have the rest of us scrambling for the middle pedal. Enjoy.

The speed shown in this video as well as the bump and runs on the guard rails is awesome. That one early Evo goes big on the jump, flat over crest, bumps the guard rail and just keeps on blasting at full speed. The amount of courage the spectators show at the end is also awesome, however probably a little too courageous. Great video find!

@Boost Gear, I think the term 'courage' is kind... I'm not sure it's something else a little less positive. Great shots; great sounds; great use of armco!
