2010 Mustang vs. Pro skaters

The latest film from Ford for the 2010 Mustang is... gnarly?

The current Mustang offered by FoMoCo is an excellent pony car. Plenty of grunt, great handling, a pretty schnazzy interior and a penchant for letting the rear step out in a controllable fashion are all aspects that help put it into our “like” category. In support of the 2010 ‘Stang, Ford has also been doing a series of different videos to help promote awareness about just how much fun their latest Mustang is. Their newest however, is a bit strange. I'm interested to see what the rebates will be on the remaining stock when the 2011s come out. V6s and V8s...

This is horrible. I'm an advertising person and this is just sad. This screams to me "Old Suits Trying To Appeal To Young Buyers!" We are way too intelligent to think that this video is nothing more than a flat story line with terrible CGI that doesn't even conform to the constraints of gravity. The point of a cool "viral" video (I hate saying that) is that it's supposed to have an air of believability. Even the stunts they pulled that were real weren't that impressive. Ford, please, hire some young talent and get your bean counters stick out of their butts so they can do their job. You're finally starting to make cars intelligent human beings want to buy, so stop embarrassing yourself with videos/advertising like this.
