The 2010 Dakar Rally is creeping up on us (January 1-17), meaning a whole lot of fast trucks are going to be storming through South America. And if that’s not enough to get you excited, just take a look at this Forester built as a joint venture between Barattero Motorsport Group and Spanish oil company YPF Elaion lubricants. The 2 liter STI engine cracks out 300 horsepower and an impressive 420 ft-lbs of torque, twin shocks carrying 9 inches of travel, and vented 295mm AP racing brakes. Only time will tell how the car will perform, but for now we’ve got the video on repeat.
