Dodge Viper: Dead in July 2010, reborn 2012

Get ready to pour one out for the meanest car in America.

Yesterday, Chrysler announced at a business plan meeting their plans for the next five years product-wise. The bad news? The current Viper that we know and love will meet its maker in July 2010. We’re literally choked up over here. The good news though, is that there are plans to launch an all-new Viper in 2012. While there’s rampant speculation that some of Fiat’s influences and resources *cough* Ferrari *cough* will trickle across the ocean to help with the design and development of the next-gen Viper, there are plenty of folks

    A Viper with Ferrari parts? Bite me. I know Lamborghini played a role in the original but Lambos are just as brutal as Vipers. Ferrari is too surgical.
