While details are still developing, it has been reported that Audi has slashed plans for three 2010 cars. The A4 and S4 convertible, in addition to the biggest loss – the top tier RS4 – have all been axed for the next model year due to “poor sales”, in addition to shifting their focus to hybrids and more environmentally friendly vehicles. What’s next? An electric R8? Oh wait…

In the words of my friend "shitfuck!"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Please Audi, let this be a bad dream. You have been working too hard all these past few years to throw in the towel and become another castrated automaker peddling underpowered econoboxes. You have earned the respect from the enthusiast crowd, you have earned the respect from the luxury crowd, you took on BMW head to head, and won over a great many drivers. Now you have nothing to take on the M3. You should be cranking out more W-12 long wheel base A8s, V-10 R8s and RS models across the range. Real drivers want red blooded drivers cars. We want the S and RS models of the past that put you on the map, Bi-Turbo engines, V-10s boosted from Lambo...the lot.I always dreamed about one day having an RS4 Avant and you just crushed that dream. At least you still have the R8, please dont let one of your last shining stars go dark.
BOOOO to the enviro weinnies! You SUCK!
