McLaren F1 Wrench Set

They're titanium and they're spectacular.

How the hell do you have a few extra “pieces” to the Facom McLaren titanium tool set? Crazy, but this seller does, and, by the way, they aren’t gold plated like McLaren F1′s Wikipedia page declare them as. All three wrenches are yours for $1050.

The Car Lounge's resident McLaren F1 expert, Peloton, explained this in the recent tool thread. Apparently only the tools in the tool roll that is kept in the car are gold plated. The tools in the FACOM tool chest are not. http://forums.thecarlounge.net/zerothread?id=4601802 about 2/3s of the way down.

Wow, really cool but I'd like to see the McLaren owner that actually uses those tools, with the exception of Jay Leno.

I've seen a show where Leno whips out his McLaren tools. They were powder-coated in Wrangler denim.
