Porsche 911 Sport Classic

Ducktails and Fuchs styled wheels...Fuchs yea!

We broke news of Porsche readying a new limited-edition 911 back in July but even we were skeptical of the model since prices were astronomical at $220,000. Well, we were proven to be somewhat right and wrong. Not only is the 911 Sport Classic coming to Frankfurt, but it’s actually more expensive at $240,702 but it is special.

From the front on, new enhancements have been made differentiating itself from other 911s. A new front fascia, double-bubbled roof, wider rear fenders and of course the classic ducktail spoiler set off the body. New 19-inch Fuchs style wheels with carbon ceramic brakes hide behind.

A new intake manifold increases horsepower by 23, now up to 408hp, and a new interior scheme is standard.

All in all, the Porsche 911 Sport Classic is a throwback to its roots and we’d be glad to get in that time machine. But hey Porsche, where’s the profile shot?
