Mercedes has been teasing their SLS AMG for a while now, but they finally chose to fully unveil their latest sports car yesterday, weeks before its public debut in Frankfurt. We’ve seen the car all decked out in camouflage, but the fully uncovered SLS is really something else.
The 2011 SLS AMG is a sort of spiritual successor to Mercedes’ wildly popular 300SL. The SLS shares the 300SL’s iconic gullwing doors, however this modern day reincarnation is powered by a 6.2 liter V8, pushing out 563hp and 479 lb.-ft. of torque. Take a look at the photos below, and let us know what you think.
holy hell! thats amazing.
I do believe it is the most striking Mercedes model I have seen in some time. Mc-Merc SLR included.
