Check this out. In an ingenious, albeit illegal activity, Scottish drivers are taking out ATM statements at one location and using it as a timing method to record their ‘lap’. The driving loop consists of running from South Queensferry to a small town two-and-a-half miles away and then returning, taking out another statement when they return, therefore, receiving an exact time of how long their lap was. The timed contest is dubbed, “The Race to Newton.” There’s also a shorter game route consisting of beating the lights around a smaller circuit.
“I have heard on the grapevine that it is now creeping into our area,” Inspector John Beresford of the Borders Police said. “The game would only be illegal if they are breaking the speed limit, or acting irresponsibly on the road, so to that extent it depends on what they’re doing.”
While it’s nice to think that they are completing these “games” without breaking the speed limit, come on. You know that they’re totally out to beat one another and breaking the law is most likely involved.
Has anyone heard of anything similar to this? It’s the first we’re hearing of it.

Pretty awesome!
Looks like that's something else the British govt. will no be monitoring, or maybe they'll ban time stamps on ATM receipts.
