We gave you a rendering of the Sportec SPR1 exactly four months ago, waiting for some official pictures of the car to arrive. But after Sportec brought the modified Porsche Turbo to Nardo, where they recorded a top speed of 236 mph, we can safely say the car is officially fast and definitely here. Tuned to 858hp and 650 lb.-ft of torque thanks to new turbos and titanium connecting rods among other things, the SPR1 will do 0-60 in 3.0 secs. and go from standstill to 186 mph in 18.9 secs. Scrubbing all that insane momentum is a set of eight-piston front calipers and four rear grabbing carbon ceramic discs. Oh, and if you do stack it, there’s a full cage, which should help keep your brain inside your skull.
We’re waiting for you, Sportec, to come deliver one (out of 10) of these bad boys to our offices in NYC. Let’s go, time’s a wasting.

How exactly does one work on a Porsche engine like that? Lift the whole chassis off?
