Just as we were closing in on a major split in Formula 1, a meeting in Paris confirmed that Max Mosley is no longer president of the FIA, and will not be seeking re-election. This answer to everyone’s prayers means that there will no longer be two rival series, and everyone will be racing under the Formula 1 championship – at least until 2012. In addition to the current racing teams, we will see three new entrants in the form of Campos, Manor, and of course USF1.
At least now Max has more time to do those…other things he does when not running the FIA.

I'm happy beyond words for this, yet at the same time hesitant. There's something to be said for the devil you know. Yet hopefully, the motorsport universe will align itself and everything comes out smelling roses, from feeder series', to the WRC, and up to pinacle that is / should be F1.
