GT-R Wins One Lap of America

Nissan's powerhouse makes a name for itself once again.

A 2009 Nissan GT-R piloted by Steve Rankings and Will Taylor took the top spot at the 2009 One Lap of America, besting a Porsche 996 GT2. After beating the hell out of their cars in the 3,400 mile, 13 state and nine racetrack calendar, the GT-R, which happens to be the first Japanese car to claim the podium (in One Laps modern format), proved top dog and took the bragging rights; until next year that is.

Head over to Motor Trend for comprehensive coverage of the event plus standings from each venue.
