Finally confirmed, the Nissan GT1 GT-R will have a racing variant of the 5.6L VK56DE V8 with 600hp and 480 lb.-ft of torque. All that push to the all-wheel system (we suspect) will be through a Ricardo six-speed, attached to a 5.5in carbon fiber triple-plate clutch. Carbon ceramic discs are grabbed thanks to six-piston calipers inside 18-inch Rays wheels.
