Being street legal means a couple things: tires, pump gas, headlights, tailights and wipers, among others, have to work. Rod Saboury of Carrol County, Baltimore just broke into the record books with a 6.95 second quarter mile @210.54 mph making his 1963 Corvette the fastest street legal car in the world. The Mike Moran built twin-turbo, 2,400hp 400 cubic-inch small block stuffed in the ‘63 Vette will do 0-60 in one second and run on 93 octane all day. The only thing this ‘63 doesn’t do well: turn.

thats pretty fast i was at maryland last month at mir. The fastest car there was a twin turbo stang running 6.9's at 207 and a old camero also running 6.9 on 10 1/2 slicks
