Lets face it, we’re used to getting snubbed by the Japanese and the Europeans when it comes to really cool cars, I mean we could probably think of a pretty decent list of cars we want but can’t have off the top of our heads. The GT-R Spec V, an even more tuned version of Nissan’s latest supercar is already on sale in Japan, but there were still doubts over whether or not we could actually get to experience it first hand in the US. However after some interesting photos of a left-hand drive Spec V started to pop up our friends over at The Motor Report decided to do some investigative digging.
After digging through some files at the US Patent and Trademark office, our boys from over the pond stumbled across quite an interesting trademark filing, by none other then Nissan Corp. for the moniker Spec V. Now why would they do such a thing? We’re keeping our fingers crossed that it’s because they are planning on perhaps bringing over the GT-R Spec V and not just filing a late trademark for the Sentra Spec V which has already been on sale for quite a few years.
