Black Series On the Dyno

The SL65 AMG Black Series on the dyno. Spoiler: doesn't seem so ferocious.

Even with 670 horsepower and 738 lb.-ft of torque, the Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series seems to be quite docile on this dyno. Yes, we know it’s from about 1,000rpms in 4th gear to redline, but it doesn’t have that serious punch that other 600hp+ turbocharged cars seem to exude. Don’t get us wrong, this thing is a complete monster and still puts down 573hp and 682 lb.-ft at the wheels according to Automobile Magazine.
