Imagine 31 years ago you see a factory Lamborghini Miura chassis at the Lamborghini factory and you say to yourself, “Hey, I’ve got to have that!” Well Lamborghini dealer Mario Kritikos of Cyprus did that. He rolled up to the Lamborghini factory in his Range Rover and carted the chassis home where it sat in storage for 30 years, until recently being unearthed earlier this month.
The chassis is not only pristine, it comes with the original invoice and photos, which document the procedure. The car is now in San Diego, CA being restored by Bobileff Motorcar Company. Check out the documentary pics below for awesomeness.

how can you restore something that was never fully built?
It was fully built. It was a fully built chassis, engine/transmission and concept. I am sure that the engine will be restored, the chassis and all parts will be stripped down and put back to their original condition. It probably is even able to be driven (although not street legal. This one car is the mother of all mid-engined high performance cars. It is the top of the pyramid across all marques. So many things on this car were a first for a non-racing car. When everyone saw it in Turin, they thought Lamborghini was going into racing. Of course, Lamborghini had no intention of racing. It is the reaction at that show that saw the chassis become the gorgeous car we call Miura just a few months later.
