Rossi to F1?

Current MotoGP champion: "...I could become a good Formula One driver.” (With bonus video.)

Just the other day reigning MotoGP champion and Italian heartthrob to both sexes, Valentino Rossi, tested with Ferrari in an F2008 racer at the Mugello circuit. According to GridCrasher.com he had this to say:

“The times we did in Fiorano, here and in Valencia have been analysed and with some good hard work and lots of effort I could become a good Formula One driver,” said Rossi.

“It’s difficult to say whether or not I would win, but the potential is definitely there.”

The report also says that Rossi completed 30 laps before inclement weather closed the test session and get this, he was two seconds off the pace of Kimi and Massa. Two seconds. That’s the equivalent of 50 dog years in F1, but maybe good enough to compete with a lower tier team…
