No CSL For You

BMW cancels their plans for a lightweight CSL version of their e92 M3.

According to Car, BMW nixed their development of the lightweight and slightly more powerful CSL M3 variant, thanks accounting department! Car quoted Ludwig Willisch, the M Division head honcho saying, “Based on current numbers, there is most likely insufficient demand for the M3 CSL.” Wow, really? Just think of how many fanbois will be sad they can’t buy a carbon fiber “CSL” trunk lid.
