The boys over at General Motors Europe have a new system that tells you when you are a crappy driver going astray from your lane and also what the road signs ahead say. Wired.com reports that the “Traffic Sign Recognition and Lane Departure Warning” system will be available on European marketed Opel’s and Vauxhall’s and lets you know what the signs ahead say and gives you an audible and visual warning. We don’t know about you, but when you need a system to tell you when it’s time to pay attention, well then you shouldn’t be driving. Then again, you can now multi-task like a madman and the car will let you know when it’s time to drive again. We bet cars will be driving you soon, a sure sign of the Apocalypse.
