Greg Pickett, the man behind Muscle Milk and Team Cryosport, has spent a reported forty hours in a racing simulator to get ready for the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend. His Pabst sim has real data from his Lola-Judd LMP1 car uploaded to match driving dynamics perfectly from wheel feedback to pedal feel—the simulator is so accurate that real times and “game” times are nearly identical.
A full workweek in the simulator proved to be clutch…Pickett nailed a low four minute lap at Le Mans in the rain during practice.
