Time for an update on that RWD coupe from Hyundai

You've been wondering, and we've got details

It’s been awhile since we’ve talked about the upcoming RWD coupe that Hyundai will be replacing the Tiburon with. Here’s some information, courtesy of Motor Authority.

- It will debut at the London Auto Show in 2008

- There will be no diesel motor

- The V8 rumor is just that, a rumor

- No Hybrid option

- The projected motor to be used is the 3.8L V6 that generates 260hp

- There is word of a possible 2.0L turbocharged motor being developed

- It’s going to cost more than the outgoing Tiburon it replaces

- The platform it’s based on is a shortened version of the upcoming, RWD, Genesis Sedan. Sorry, no Invisible Touch

- Roughly half the styling for the car will be based on the Veloster concept
