So while Aston Martin didn’t want the cat out of the bag until Friday, we live in an age where the concept of an embargo doesn’t mean squat. And we’re sort of ok with that.
The DBS is the latest offering from Aston, replacing the now extinct Vanquish. Sporting a 6.0 L V12 that puts down 510hp and 420lb-ft, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission (the only transmission btw), the DBS gets to the benchmark we’re named after in 4.3 seconds. It tops out at 191mph, and can then be pulled back to a more reasonable speed via carbon ceramic brakes that sit behind 20-inch wheels.
That brings us to the exterior. Oh, the exterior. Gorgeous. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
The DBS receives an official unveiling at this weekends Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, so look for more detailed information and images then.
